May light of glorious gospel
Shine now bright unto all
The gospel of Christ, He who is
Image of God, true this
Messengers, preachers of gospel
Evangelists, they all
Preach not themselves, but preach the Lord
Christ Jesus, He the Word
For messengers they be servants
Of the gospel, now hence
Sharing good news of salvation
To reach to each nation
For God, who commanded the light
To shine from darkness' night
Has shined in our hearts, for to give
Us light that we may live
The light of the knowledge of His
Glory, a lasting bliss
Seen in face of Jesus Christ, He
Mankind's Saviour sure be
