What was dust, now is fume,
thus, death could come, oh so soon,
the air does choke, all in sight,
apart from banks, full of might,
abortive judgement, what a gas!
Strangle peacetime, raise a glass -
to suffocation, proudly made,
watch inner children, mock and fade,
in illness, rub the Vicks on chest,
to try; to live; like all the rest,
but, life’s design, there’s no reprieve,
if it always; hinders, the need to breathe!

- Comment from author about the poem: Our design for life is repeatedly self-destructive, thus, in our grotesque celebration and facilitation of all that is wrong under the sun, when we feed our habits, we are strangling ourselves! No common decency or sense, just recycled overcomplication, via bowing down to posionous popular opinions, in order to continue to feed the lie, that we are OK in our conduct as a species. In this modern age, not even the air we breathe in is "fresh" anymore, because the particles from the chimney stacks of heavy industry and the traffic on the roads, means that the air we "breathe" in, has been so proudly paid for, in order to become the fume, that reminds us, that we have become blissfully ignorant, awful self-damagers! I have a little bit of a "tickle" and a swollen lip today, so my need to breathe is quite the priority, but in this clime, it would seem that in such a constant "proverbial suffocation", that is so easily and woefully provided, it will be hard to do so. The banner picture is self-explanatory, I hope that you enjoy and take something from this short one, and as always, please do stay safe in the madness everyone!
