Contagion

Revelations at the end of the world,

When it’s far too late to continue to build.

The hopes and dreams we had yesterday,

Are gone in a flash. They’ve been taken away,

By a revelation. A conversation.

A final reckoning is a possibility,

And little old me with this split personality.

Yesterday happy. Today, impossible to be, it seems.

For it is foretold. Destinies awakening.

The end of days. The trumpets are playing,

And we are being lead into the Heavenly Gates which await.

Too soon for sure. No more counting the days in their thousands.

Now we’re checking the minutes.

Life is minute when its swimming in limits.

Trying not to drown by the consuming energy.

Eternal damnation is synergy,

And we are in parallel, paralyzed by the truth.

Life is lived by the second. First place is a fluke,

And we are clearly not lucky enough to survive.

Revelations...today I am alive.

Revelations the last book in the bible supposedly written by John is full of metaphor and vivid images of an apocalyptic nature. Well done
