She is always there,
Always there for me.
She is there on the good days,
And there on the hard days
She hugs me with love.
And when I am alone,
Alone in the house,
I feel lonely.
But never for long
As she comes back,
Because she makes our home,
Makes our home feel different,
Feel different just by being in it.
As I get older the more I realise,
Realise she is one of the best,
One of the best things,
Best things that ever happened,
Ever happened to me,
Ever happened me in my lifetime.
How did I get this lucky?

- Comment from author about the poem: It is very strange when I am in the house alone when Mary has popped out as I feel lonely. Mary says the same when I am out of the house.

Good write Gold. I wrote a similar poem (did I? lol). KP thought I meant her. I said 'No, not you, but Fido!' lol.
She said 'You think more of that hound than on of me'. I replied 'Yep!' heehee.
Thank you Orchi.
I truly admire the love you share.
I think my wife is happy to see the back of me, half the time!
May the Blessings keep coming...
Thank you 2781.
