Tune: St Botolph
('I come with joy to meet my Lord')
Ephesians 1 v.7-12
************
In Christ we have redemption through
His blood, He forgives you
Your sins, according to riches
Of His grace, blessed is this
In this He has abounded to
Us wisely, prudent too
God has made known the mystery
Of His will to us, see
The mystery, hidden secret
In old time was not yet
Revealed, but now New Testament
Days, God His Son has sent
In accord with His good pleasure
Purposed in Himself sure
That in dispensing of times full
Gather things in Christ all
Things in heaven, and things in earth
Gathered in Christ, His worth
We give Him, and in Him we have
Inheritance, He saves
We predestinated, it be
In god's purpose freely
He works all after the counsel
Of His will, we not fall
That we should be to the praise pure
Of His glory e'ermore
We who have trusted in Christ for
Redemption, He our cure
