I've had more pity parties than I care to remember and even embarrassed to say, those that I can't remember at all
you know? the ones where you feel like having a small glass of wine and it turns into a whole bottle, and maybe even a tipple of rum or your favourite whiskey?
just to finish it off?
and you suddenly find yourself tipsy and in a world where
Frank Sinatra
and Smokey Robinson
are spending the evening with you?
when you find yourself listening to your favourite playlist of
"the old times of yore"
memories happy memories sad
memories to savour and all those bad
and when you awake with a throbbing head and a box of tissues under your bed
and you realize the wonderful life in which, if we laugh, we can move forward, look back, and laugh again
as music really does soothe the pain.

Alcohol hides it and music sooths it or sometimes magnifies it. I hope those times are past my friend.
I hope not I quite like them from time to time 🌹 thank you my dear friend sorrenbarret 🌹
You are most welcome Teddy
Is that big black round thing a CD.
Waking up with a sore head, those were the days.
Okay, that was yesterday.
Music was my first love.
Ah wasn't it just, we were so lucky to be born the X generation Paul, thank you dear friend. 🌹
Dear, Teddy,
Rum and music a delicious cocktail and well worth the hangover. My predilection was guinness and some drunken companion reciting a Banjo Patterson poem before blacking out. I enjoyed these reflections of yours, wildish in ways but cheerful and harmless overall in the spirit and essence of music. A joy to read.
Fond regards,
Tony.
I'm a fan of a Guinness myself in Dublin they used to call me sweet cheeks in the bars, yes a bit of Cristie Moore and some really great fun, those were the days. Thank you dear Tony.
Oh, Teddy! I've certainly had my share of those evenings, although these days the music is enough for me. LOL! I think we've all had moments when we needed to have a good cry and then laugh at ourselves afterward. Loved this, my friend! 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Thank you so much dear Tristan, I've always loved my own company, and the company of others who like to enjoy themselves. 💜 🤣
