Gooblegook

Teddy.15

Ah the word gooblegook,

what could it mean?

A great poet

let it out the magnificent bag of words

and I, as a fellow poet

well, I couldn't help but bring it

to the grand table to discuss

maybe it's a word that is so perfect

that none can define it?

maybe it's a word that doesn't need to be defined?

having said that

I'm very curious to know it's definition

but then again

if I knew what it meant

would it take away the power?

of this fabulous word?

I'm leaving this one on the table for now...

after all

Pandora was famous for being curious

and look what happened to her

she had a meeting with the devil himself

and lived the rest of her life in regret,

regret that she should never have been so curios?

Curiosity killed the cat, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be attempted, a little bit.
I'm putting you forward for this.
Now, gobbledegook. This is what I give the tax man every year, and every year he sends me a pandora box in return.

Teddy love neologisms and at one time or another all words were such. Shakespeare famous for inventing words. This one, if we mean gobbledygook was supposedly invented by Maury Maverik chairman of the U.S. smaller War Plants Corporation in a memo in 1944 saying it was meaningless language like a turkey sound. Good write Teddy

HAHA! Teddy, I think Rory has officially committed a crime against the dictionary, and I'm entirely in favor of it! 😂 Some words are simply too much fun to be subjected to proper linguistic supervision. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛
