The LP Swing Band.

Goldfinch60

Unto the hotel joyfully we came

For four bright nights beneath its welcoming light,

To hear the band whose music won acclaim

And filled each eager evening with delight.

By day their golden melodies would rise
And set the happy company in motion,

A wondrous sound beneath the open skies

That swept through every heart like rolling ocean.

They danced as though the hours could never cease
And gave their beating hearts to every tune,

Each step became a song of perfect peace

From afternoon until the silver moon.

So passed a week whose joys will long endure
A treasured time, remembered evermore.
