The rabbit sees the little guy;
He is so green and old.
Nothing there to nibble;
No carrots to behold!
He's searching for a rainbow
So it's widely told,
Where he can safely bury
His little pot of gold.
Thats no use for eating
Though it can perhaps be sold,
But who trades gold with rabbits,
For carrots plentifold ?

Clever and fun this fanciful poem sets a light tone melding legend with reality and with good rhyme a light feel of mirth. Very nice my friend. Poems often taken too serious need a little more of this type for seasoning. Loved it keep up the good work
Well, I kinda promised you rabbits and leprechauns last time. Don't want you to think me just a tease! Thanks for your encouragement. Cheers!
I believe you could write about almost anything. Have a great day
Haha! Wonderful fun, Jabberwocky! 😂 I can just imagine the leprechaun trying to negotiate with a rabbit who couldn't care less about his fortune. Perhaps he should invest in a carrot farm instead! LOL! 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
I have a big garden, I might get into the carrot business myself! Good to hear from you. Thanks.
The poem was inspired by a comment between Soren and I. Just a wee challenge I adopted, a bit of fun.
Keep up the challenges if they result in cheerful little rhymers like that.
