fading Summer's light
under the deck boards
sun filters on many
expeditions yet to start
and around the corner
a salivating dog guards
the entry way between
a dense hedge of green

Most grateful dear friend 🙏🏻🕊️
much enjoyed
Brilliant. Vivid and sharp.
Thank you dear friend 🙏🏻🕊️
My mind wanders through words of metaphor here. Illusions? As I put them out I may well be judged as insane but already having been deemed so I have little to loose. My summer light has already faded but when in those late summer hours of beginning Fall, those deck boards were my platform, what I had constructed, yet under it all there were still dreams of future expeditions. Around my corner lurked Cerebros the guard of the doors of Hell salivating in wait for me.
An excellent metaphoric reading dear friend. Thank you so much 🙏🏻🕊️
You are always most welcome it is ever a pleasure to read your work
How's that Spring there?! Good write A.
Colder than usual here O. But love that for the whole year, cool at night and coolish in the day.
Hello, arqios,
A very plesant scene with a somewhat vicious conclusion. Expeditions yet to start when comes the corner dog - careful what you wish for perhaps in this intriguing and succinct gem. Excellent!
Wishing you much happiness,
Tony.
