That was the question,

The question they needed to answer.

As they discussed it

They spoke about the trial

And eleven of them said guilty,

But one said not guilty.

And a wonderful evening was produced

Bringing the play to life

As they discussed, argued and shouted.

Such a wonderful play

Drawing me into it

With such fine acting.

I had seen the film

Which was one of my top films,

But the play I had never seen

And I was totally impressed,

Impressed by the way,

The way it showed the story,

By the Twelve Angry Men on stage.
