A tapestry of joyful technicolor jelly beans
my heart flutters over those of yellow, pink and green
a firecracker upon my palate
a really theatrical scene
they put a smile upon my face
Yet my greed keeps me from just one,
Admittedly for jelly beans, I truly have no grace
I confess with selfish pride
I will not share them with you
this sugary treasure is mine alone
even those in which are blue.

- Comment from author about the poem: I was challenged to make a poem on jelly beans in rhyme as it is not my best talent so here it is and yes it needs work so I shall leave it to breathe and come back to it to see what I can do to make it like jelly bean butter. 🤣 Happy Friday
