Some say the world will end in love
others say hate...
I agree with those who hate,
it's so easy to get up in the morning
and hate everyone, everything.
Every movement, every gesture,
every stare.
To be so hypocritical,
These are the days when it rains,
I rip my favorite jeans,
and my hair is a mess.
But then you look at me,
and I agree with those who love.
It's never a fight to smile,
To give more than you should.
To hold that door, for one more.
And then you kiss me,
and I thank heaven above.
For someone like you,
who understands me,
when I don't even have
it all figured out.
So I agree with those who favor
love...and if I had to come back
and do it again.
It would always be love.
It would always be you.
