There’s nothing wrong with him
He’s just on a word diet
But others still continue 2 question
Because this kid is quiet
He wears long sleeved shirts
And has long hair 2 hide his face
That’s not the only thing he hides
Cause he lives in his own space
His peers taunt and tease him
2 see if he can speak
They make his life a gloomy game
By making him “the freak”
All he ever wanted
Was 2 be left alone
But in this rough reality
He’s never on his own
Especially when it’s dark
When dark is not his fears
It’s what is inside it
That brings him his troubled tears
No one knows his untold strife
And no one ever will
Secrets must be kept
But at some point they must spill
Pillz keep his mind in line
But thinking makes him swerve
A thought of suicide came along
And hit that ready nerve
Why does his God not answer back?
Why do things never go well?
Why do people want him 2 talk?
Why is his life a hell?
His mom and dad love him so
But they don’t understand
That their one and only son
Wishes he was never planed
Laying on his bed
Spacing at the ceiling
He cuts himself deep
2 stop what he is feeling
Deaths the key
That set him free
In truth this quiet kid
Is me

I knew you were writing about yourself Rob way before I got to the last line. Although your poetry is hopefully helping you cope it is also worrying for those of us that read it. You must find and keep your own faith that God is there for you, even if he doesn't answer your prayers very often. And although talking on this poetry site is better than nothing there's nothing quite like talking one to one with another human being about problems and emotional pain. I really hope things improve for you soon, regards Bernard Franklin.
