Do You Ever Feel That Way?

nair36

Do you ever feel like your falling through an abyss?

While falling do ever you think about this

Why am I falling, and how did I fall?

Is there any purpose 2 this at all?

Why is it dark and why can’t I see?

How come it’s no one else but me?

What have I done 2 fall so deep?

It’s been days but still I can’t sleep

I don’t think the abyss will ever end

I hope in time, that I can ascend

Do you ever feel like life is 2 short?

Like nobody’s there and you have no support

Has anyone grown adapt 2 being alone

Or stopped 2 ponder about the unknown

Picking up habits because you are stressed

Sometimes you don’t know why you’re even depressed

Wondering about the paths you have chosen

Leading 2 being so cold that your frozen

Feeling like heaven and happiness is so out of reach

But though that may be true you still try 2 get each

Do you ever feel that way?

Like it’s “every” single day

To others at least

Like time has somehow ceased

And falling through an abyss you know it’s a thought

You just feel that way but it happens a lot

Life may be 2 short but you can extend it with love

It’s that prosperous push that gives you a satisfactory shove

These are just some answers I’ve found here and there

I guess I just thought I could share

Nicely written. I think you described the feeling very well, while it's a feeling that's not so easy to describe, at least in my opninion. So, good job
