In a moment of weakness,

I fell to the ground,

Knees buckling,

Hands shaking,

Tears falling,

I only wanted to keep you safe,

And this is how you repay me?

Betrayal?

I’ve lived with this so long,

But in a moment of weakness,

All the pain came rushing back,

Leaving me broken and hurt,

So I lay here and cry,

And slowly I die,

Because the sorrow has caught up with me,

And it has finally finished me off,

Leaving me here was a mistake,

But not coming back was the smartest thing you ever did,

Because in a moment of weakness,

I would have pulled the trigger....
