Misery Inside

XJordanXVonXJaggedX

The blood running through my veins,

Is black as night,

My soul is dead,

My heart has stopped beating,

I’m alive, but I’m not,

Feelings lost, Long gone,

In existence no more,

Frozen in time, I can no longer move,

Can’t breathe,

But I have no reason to,

I don’t need oxygen,

Don’t need air,

Don’t need to breathe,

Turning blue,

Bleeding and screaming,

Tears cried no more,

I’ve lost sight of reality,

It’s slipped from my grasp,

Gone but no longer needed,

It’s a luxury I can live without,

I feel no pain,

Isolated from the world,

Dying inside,

Trying to find,

A reason for me,

To come back to life,

And breath again,

Misery again,

I can no longer hide

In a real sense it is so very true, for unless the Lord saves us, we are all truly dead (in sin). And miserable more often than not. I think you've excellently portrayed the situation. We are hopeless without God.
