Death

JayFace21

Lay me down

to my final resting place

the day was bright and joyful

but the night was dark and dead

I close my eyes ...

and pray to God

pray to him

that there will be

no grief and sorrow

and let it be a

better day tomorrow

a lonely tear

catches my eye

as they never

open again

Interesting look at dying/death....you described it well. What is the day, versus the night in it? Is the day before you died and the night after? And the way you divided the lines was good, as it effectively made your points.
