DESIRE

Dolphine29

What is desire?

We search it to fill us

To feel so full, so alive

So we won’t ever feel empty.

Emptiness is like a hole

Driving us inside, but alone

Desire is the hope that lives

The one that makes us feel real.

The image with it is so delightfully fitting in its contemplative/reflective tone. Desire, though enlivening, sometimes drives so maddeningly....seems to me.
