LONELINESS

Moeketsi

WHEN BY MY SOLITARY HAVE I SIT  AND HATEFUL THOUGHTS ENWRAP MY SOUL IN GLOOM;AND THE BARE HEATH OF LIFE PRESENTS NO BLOOM,WHEN NO FAIR DREAM BEFORE MY MIND FLEET, OH GOD,LET ME HEAR YOUR SOFT MIGHTY VOICE SPEAK

Nice poem, it sounds like a plee for help to God. It really is a nice poem... short but very sweet.

Your personal comment is excellent and so crucial..... oh, that we would in our loneliness and always draw nigh to God and truly hear His voice, in His Word, not our imaginations. I like it...great reminder.
