THE THEORY OF ILLUSION

jvl narasimha rao

Once a scholar lived in a Royal court

With others’ troubles he would make sport

Every body respected him for his vision

He would say “the theory of illusion”

When somebody suffered from any pain

He would say there was neither pain nor gain

Everything was an illusion

All of us would suffer from mere delusion

One day he was in the Royal garden

A wild elephant came from his den

It lifted the scholar by the back

He rolled on the floor like a pack

When he fell on to the mud

Every body heard the sound of thud

The Royal Jester came to the man

And asked him “is it an illusion”?

The scholar replied ,”it is neither an illusion

Nor a matter of delusion

I am scholar of great vision

It is a fact. This is my reason”
