Places at wars

AYESHABEG

Sun rose for the whole world
But they couldn't see a Ray of light
They peep from curtain draped windows
Into the dust and mist after explosions
Who says they don't have homes
They live under the bullets
There is no light,no dawn for places at wars.
People say they have no arms to fight back
But they do,pelting stones on armored tanks and finally getting
crushed into their graves
Broken mortuaries flooding without beating hearts
Hospitals with wailing mothers and children.
This is how life goes on at places at wars.
Everyday the little hearts hear the same bedstory, the sonic booms of
F16 jets
They also have statue of liberty,
Liberty of running from blazing schools and houses in fire.
Infants curl to gravel and gunpowder as their mothers are long gone.
This is how they breath at places at wars.

You drew the scene of the ugliness of it all excellently.....it is a nightmare, and yet they live...it is so very sad....thank you for this reminder. And yet, how much do we live in war with words and hatefilled actions, just as much a nightmare, though often hardly seen/recognized.
