When I Open My Eyes

brandyleigh

When I open my eyes, I see all the years that have passed by me.

I see my friends I've made, and my family I've made proud.

I see my greatest mistakes, and my greatest decisions.

When I open my eyes.

When I open my eyes, I see the way my life is leading.

I see my aging without realizing the days that have gone by.

I see the present unwinding, and becoming the past.

When I open my eyes.

When I open my eyes, I see my future near.

I see great years that are coming.

I see the life that I've always wanted, because I've had no fear.

When I open my eyes.

I smile.

Cool. Sounds like it is very pleasant to open your eyes! I am glad it is going so very well for you. You expressed it well in all you saw by referring to it as "when I open my eyes."
