The Eternity Urge

The Eternity Urge

    Qurban  Qudrat

I have the eternity urge

Spanning antiquity to eternity

Heavens endless eyes unfold of me

Whenever I embrace you

My palms unfold vast mysteries

Whenever I exalt you

Music composes inside me

And the whole world goes symphonic

I have love lunacy

From antiquity to eternity

Each plunge into love is joy

I live in your one same soul and body

Where moments last a million years apiece

I long to make it in my home

In such moments

You wait inside me

Your gleam is everywhere

The world’s atoms turn each to diamond

Your mysterious smile waits endlessly at me

Yet you whirl silently inside my soul and my body

While I yearn for open desert vistas

I flow into your endlessness

You flow into my soul

Indeed you are its source

The urge wanders me astray

Each plunge into love is joy

Only timelessness with sooth it

A fascinating ecstasy over whom? Vaguely almost reminiscent of RN Tagore's Gitanjali, yet you have not labelled it as "spiritual." It is a love song of sorts, but seemingly not to a mortal, or is it? Interesting and intriguing, sweet and disturbing....lovely.
