Heaven is a butter star

gerrylegister

Sweet is the lore which nature brings,

In tidings and shapes of beautiful things,

Given to my mind by the curtain of the sky,

And watch the night unfold in magical beauty

Her peaceful respite in tearful moments weep,

The uneasy tears our breezy thoughts sweep.

Change sides with seasons cheering clouds,

And what seemed a waste of dew unfolds.

The starry skies, where we will meet our fate,

Until fighting stop and we love those we hate,

When peace we have; peace shall not

Climb care free high over mountaintop,

To closed the land below, and open terrestrial door,

For sun to shine and moon to show us where,

Heaven is a butter star in grand panorama,

And buttery darkening stars gathered in sky arena,

Gaze upon bright shapes from infinite space,

Spellbound arms hold each other in sweet embrace.

And there in heaven, we look for grace to be forgiven,

Of things loosed from this world at the second coming.

Fascinating, very....especially considered in light of your comment.....heaven is a term applied, it seems to me, to several things....the sky with clouds, sunshine and rain, directly overhead; the place where Jehovah dwells, never seen as yet by us, beyond all we can see; and the dark vast seemingly limitless void(?) of space in which the stars, sun, moon and planets move and hang, just beyond our atmosphere where we send our machinery, such as satellites; as well as your allusion to being in the arms of our beloved...a heaven of sorts, too. Very interesting philosophical consideration. I enjoyed it!
