Metamorphosis

Metamorphosis
The story of a beautiful girl
-by MVB

In far away and mystic, magic lands
There lived a beauty said to be the most
And legends of her fairness went on end
To reach the farthest corners of the world

Her walk as if she floated on soft clouds
Her scent a spellbound rose and jasmine breeze
Her hair weaving freely to the ground
A flow of purple locks in never-ending bliss

Her words were sounds that echo down from heavens
Her touch a mix of silk and satin blend
Her grace the form of elegance eternal
Her charm and beauty pleasing to the end

From early, misty dawns the birds would gather
To sing her songs of titillating tunes
And every creature big and small in nigh
Would gravitate to share in her joy

But surly dusks came down onto those lands
From wicked menace bound by jealousy
And our suave and gracious little princess
Fell down consumed in endless agony

Dark clouds abound to press their master's will
And worlds once joyful slowly disappear
And all there's left of once magnific lands
Is nothing but deserted worlds of fear

The menace cast his shadow everywhere
And withered all the beauty in the land
He reigned with cruelty and iron fist
His will to subjugate and suffocate

As darkness is but absence of the light
And hate and anger are but love forgotten
They never can endure and dominate
Because the good will still return and conquer

And darkly clouds will slowly dissipate
To make room for the once surreal puffs
And rain of most reviving kind will drop
To bring life back into the lands of joy

And everything came back to glorious life
Just like it was before inside the magic glade
While calming rain kept slowly dripping down
Reviving tiny creatures and our maid

The land and everything divine became again
Triumphantly returning back to bliss
Proclaiming they forever shall remain
In love and passion and adoring wis

And in the instant following the rain
Prepared for the advent yet to see
The maid transformed into the mesmerizing flower
That she was always meant into this world to be

Wow. Makes me smile. Sarah is lucky. This is a very sweet story. I quite enjoyed it. Fascinating. Ah, yes, love will yet win the day and dark forever be put away. What a fun, kind uncle!
