My World

Alexandre Landsley

You're the ink to my pen

You're the reason why blood flows through my veins

There is no kryptonite to you, and I'm no superman

Still you stick by me, as if I'm part of you

But you're a part of me, without being kin, you're family

So close to my heart you have shared my pain, and shared my joy

And became more than just "a part of me," you became

Ma joie de vivre, my love, and inevitably my world.

Wow. This is excellent! Very sweetly put and so perfectly too in the symbolism, the very love that penned it....the title captures it all. The image is delightfully fitting. This is delightful, to say the least, and almost too truly loving to be merely called "romantic." I quite enjoyed it....and doubtless she best appreciates it.
