Space

Monsters

I lie on the ground

And stare into space

The stars start to move

In the shape of your face

I see you there now

Looking down at me

With a cute little smile

That I like to see

You say "Close your eyes

Tell me what you see"

I see two people

Just you and me

We're walking the shoreline

With our feet getting wet

The horizon turns Beautiful

As the sun starts to set

I  wish I could be

In that one special place

As I lie on the ground

And stare into space

Excellent!!! La, and you are only twelve???? Beautifully depicted with the symbolism of stars and shore, the image is very fitting, and you wove it perfectly from start to finish.....all so perfectly love. Your use of rhyming as well as the rythm is great! I am impressed and quite enjoyed it.

Well, you write very well....too bad you never got the book of poetry. If you keep writing this well, wow...just think what you'll be years from now...it is a fun hobby, especially when you have a good idea to write about.
