Take My Heart

Alexandre Landsley

It’s the most precious thing that I have left
It has been through some of the worst weather
So I have been hiding it from the whole world
Hoping that one day, someone like you will be worthy to receive it
I beg you, so please take it
Many have tried to open it
But none succeeded I guess they forgot
That love is the only key to such way
I would have given you my life
But I can guarantee you, you don’t want it
So again, I beg you take it, take my heart
While there is still life beating from it.

Aw. Very sweet, yet bittersweet, a plea for love....I hope she doesn't turn it down...and that you never so wholly commit your heart to any but the Lord, lest it be broken irreparably. This is very nicely written, rather poignant, and endearing, so sweet....I like it very much.
