Congruence

Marius

Congruence
-by MVB

I want to be the rain and fall
On your body thin and small
To wet your hair with my love
With tender splash from high above

I want to be the wind and blow
Through your hair when I flow
With longing and with dedication
To whisper love in adoration

I want the earth to be forever
Caressing all your steps in tremble
And when you softly walk on me
Awake the shivers deep within

I want the lake to be instilling
In lily flowers love that’s giving
Their scent to cover your whole soul
To love me like never before

I want to be a fire burning
To light up deep desires and longing
To burn a fire deep inside
To be my always loving bride

I want to be the snow that covers
With love your body as it wanders
To snow on you a bridal dress
Forever when my life you bless

On beach I want to be the sand
To carve your love with steps on end
To warm up all your gentle steps
And tenderly your heart caress

I want to be all that’s surrounds you
To kiss when in my arms I find you
And where you go and where you be
To walk with you in harmony

I want to be the wind and rain
The sand, the lake and earth again
A snow to cover you in dream
And be your fire deep within

Ah, so delightfully romantic! I hope she likes it. Such an alluring, enticing, endearing call of love, all-consuming forever love....your symbolism is so delightful, all the things you poetically want to be, loving her.....very, very nicely expressed. Excellent!!! Delightful, beautiful, well-written. I quite enjoyed picturing all you described,...it's a sweet poem!
