~~Saving the planet~~

Rajat

On gleaming the silent shimmering sky,

I, as a child used to wonder who and why

Crafted the timeless beauty of nature

And gifted to the 'selfish, careless creature'?

From seas to deserts and  forests to hills,

Vistas whose glimpse pumps the altitude of frills!

But, with the time which passed and world has changed,

The portrait of blue planet has incredibly ranged.

Brutal global warming is on a rise,

Sketching an impossibility for us to pay the price.

Green covers are erased and wildlife face extinction

Unearthing earth's shortened life span in a high mind's predicition!

An urge to humans to save 'our' earth,

to ensure stretching of the sphere's age since birth!

Beautifully done! Your end-rhyming is very good, and the rythm fairly good. It's put together very well, with the first stanza depicting the awe, grandeur and fascinating beauty of the earth and the ones given responsibility/stewardship, which the second stanza nicely expands on with the issues allegedly threatening the desirable earth, the final couplet perfectly concluding with the plea to try to sustain it, still connecting it with the responsible people. Excellent! But I beg to differ on global warming, so far as I know, it is a deception.

what r your views about global warming then??

Eye opener, as most of us need to see to take the responsibility on what we do and on what can we do; no matter the scale it is a chain that will affect the entire world. I love it
