Valentine's Day

Becca

(I wrote this one for him before Valentine's Day, and planned on sending it to him on Valentine's Day. But we are not speaking, so I'm not able to give it to him.)

Your my special Valentine, that loves me very much,

I couldn't ask for any one better, cause you're all I'll ever need.

Baby you're mine, until the end of time. Its Valentine's Day, and Im all alone.

(I wrote this one early this morning. because I feel pain inside.)

Its supposed to be a happy day, but the tears wanna dwell up.

The guy that I love, seems to be pulling away from me.

My heart appears to be on hold, because I have no clue.

I like your poem. It could be alot worse though. My girlfriend broke up with me before Valentines day. I'm not one to pass around advice but if you like writing poems then maybe you could write him one and initiate some sort of conversation. Your poem says he's special to you and I think he'd love any poem you wrote for him. I agree that love's a mystery. But your're a poet so you can solve it.

Wow. What a bittersweet tribute to this sweetheart holiday of Valentine's Day! Frankly, while you dearly love none other than him, he does not sound good enough for you....maybe you use this time to cool off a little and maybe see whether he is worth all your tender affection and present grief. And if you can talk it out with him, be honest with yourselves...if you can. The mystery of love almost seems to be....why do we love when we've no good reason to love?
