Rebellious

Alexandre Landsley

I am rebellious and harder than steel
I won’t let them break me
Because mentally and physically I destroy my enemies
So they keep me starving
But it’s my thirst for knowledge that keeps me going
An adrenaline to the baloney that they feed me
I swear it’s not even funny, let me speak
I do not have the patience to hold it inside of me
My voice has to be heard, loud and clearly
I will continue to make noise as long as I am living
I will never sit back and let them judge me
No way, I will never let them decide my faith
Because when I go, it will be with a smile on my face
Rebellious, rebellious, rebellious to the bone
It’s not the blood that flows through my veins that makes me a rebel
It’s an animal thing, to always be so angry and hungry in search for liberty
To fight for what is right and never give up until I am free
It’s humanely strange, but I guess you will definitely understand.

Hmmm. I don't think longing for liberty is rebellious....then again I can see how it might well be if you are supposed to submit to your captors/oppressors....fascinating, serious consideration....fighting for right cannot be rebellious, though, keep it up.
