Strength- Its not something you're born with.
Its something you have to work on and gain.
If you dont have strength dont feel ashamed.
We all feel weak and selfless at some point.
But done be disheartened and down.
Hard times are there to test us,
even if it does nearly run us to the ground.
Strength is a powerful emotion,
If you have strength, you have the courage to conquer.
If you put it with wisdom.
Use strength as your guide in life, if you fail get back up.
Become stronger, take one massive stride.
Try again, do anything to succeed.
You do all this; the thing that follows you is,
pride and the ability to reach.

- Comment from author about the poem: I went through a very rough patch in my life. I didnt think i had the strength to get through, so i wrote this poem. and everytime i read it back to myself, i then beleived in myself.

Your author's note makes it mean so much more....bolstering ourselves to move when we're immobilized by whatever is destroying or crushing the life out of us. Yet, we cannot trust in our own selves and our hearts for the Lord says that "he that trusts in his own heart is a fool" instructing us to find our strength in Himself, saying "even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint." In the Lord alone is true, everlasting, saving strength.
