For my lost lover ...

Rajat

Sometimes I am swept by the past

- our beautiful past

The fantasy evenings when we spent,

hand in hand staring at each other.

My eyes are dipped with tears of emotions

remembering the last moist imprint of your kiss.

It did not happen before,

as I had you who did'nt let pearl fall.

I wait to feel those waves of feelings,

once used to leave me delighted.

I long for your hearty warm hugs,

were a source of my rejuvenation.

To me, everyone seems a stranger

no one to heal the wounds,

no one to wipe the tears

of my pity weeping heart.

The lonely soul only has a a desire

from God to return the soul mate

and rewind the reel of my life

to its old pretty attire...
