my life was joyful
you were my life
where are you now?
did i do something wrong?
i woke up and you were gone
was it me

will i ever get an answer?
i sure hope so
you promised me you would never

was that just your way of fooling me?
my heart is gone
you took it with you
all there is left is a big hole
where it was before
i have learned to ignore
the pain you have given to me
but it will never go away
where have you gone
or were you ever really there?
