My Love Holding You

broken_dreams23

When the outcome of life,

Just doesn't seem fair,

And every event leaves you

In persistent despair.

When the roads all go,

In the wrong direction,

And the entire world

Spouts constant rejection.

Remember the strength,

That has carried you through,

And recall all the dreams

That you want to pursue.

Your heart won't fail you,

During demand occasion,

And character won't change,

Without great persuasion.

If a day ever comes,

When you just can't stand alone.

When the world stacks against you

Like a raging cyclone,

Look down on your hand,

And you will surely find.

My love holding you,

With fingers intertwined.

Very sweet, I loved it. 🙂 Definitely made me smile even though I've had a pretty bad day.
