Unloved

Emi

Down my face tears are streaming

My soul, my head, my heart are screaming

So long ago have I given up dreaming

Dreaming of being unforgotten

How deathly slow my heart is beating

Certainly now my hope is fleeting

In my mind, the memories repeating

Repeating until they are unreal

How many times must I be told to wait?

Haven’t already I received enough hate?

I fear my savior may come much too late

Much too late to be uncondemned

I’m stuck in this same confining cage

Stuck without a voice to express this rage

Stuck without a hand to turn the page

The page of being unloved

    How do they know love
    When they don't understand?
    Feeling emotions through glove
Rather than it be by hand
The wait will wither in the wind
    Before the time shall come
And for the wait the mirror grinned
As I saw where that love came from

Holy cow.... like, seriously, how? How is such beautiful writing possible?! I loved this so much, it`s ridiculous! Your writing is so creative, expressive, and perfect.... it`s just so crazy (in a good way, of course)! 🙂
