Could this be love?

Hoween94

His arms tightly wrapped around me,

holding me, his body so warm,

I never want him to let me go,

his heart beating same pace as mine,

could this be love?

my question remains unanswered.

Alas, and how very well and perfectly you've depicted it here! Wonderful! It is a familiar question, in that so many likewise ask it. While it could lead there, it is not at all necessarily love. He could've done this with many another girl, just for the fun of it, maybe. The time to build love is before you get physical, seems to old-fashioned me. Your concluding line is excellent, for it aptly demonstrates the situation, hinting at the real, unfortunate answer.
