Exceptions

Emi

All things must always be as they are

Else from logic meaning would stray far

For what else is a flower but a flower?

And what is sixty minutes but an hour?

Cars pass by, and I know them to be cars

As I watch the stars that shine like stars

And I walk beside the road that is a road

It’s not too complicated an idea to decode

But maybe there are exceptions to the law

Your smile is the brightest sun that I ever saw

My love for you is the tallest tree that ever grew

My happiness is the highest bird that ever flew

So walking on ground, I feel I’m flying above

But love now I know to be naught but love

My gosh! I can`t do anything but stare at this point... How is it possible that there is actually someone who can write such magnificent poems that are so high class at age 14?! Your poems honestly (as I have realized a little while ago) create an amazing aura that floats off the page, and just makes my soul jump with joy! Your poems make my day, and they make me so happy, even in my dark moods! 🙂 I can`t wait for the next one, and I wish that I`ll be able to write like you, someday 😀
