True Friendship

Huzaidi Hashim

The value of true friendship …

is seldom appreciated …

until it is lost forever.

A true friend knows all about you,

Yet still likes you regardless

He gives you freedom to be yourself

Yet can tolerate your differences

He knows the song in your heart,

and sings it to you when you’ve forgotten

He’ll still believe in you

Even when you’ve ceased to believe in yourself

His advice is like snow

the softer it falls,

the longer it is dwelled upon,

and the deeper it sinks into your mind

For honesty …

is a sign of true friendship.

even when it hurts you the most!

I love it! I especially like these two lines: "He knows the song in your heart, and sings it to you when you’ve forgotten". 🙂
