Behind my hair the sky is divided
At night the stars seem much more then provided
Behind my hair I shutter to see
Yet still stars shine divine for me
Behind my hair I don’t even know it
But the center of my mind has the heart of a poet
And it’s hard to explain the pain that’s real
Or to feel the broken pieces that won’t even heal
How does one know the reality of life?
When behind their hair is struggle and strife
To at least find depth and meaning to cry
No wishes to break but take that try
Behind my hair I close my eyes
Closed for lies though open for skies
That hopefully one day will open too
And when I pull back my hair I will see you

I know the depth of that feeling. I really enjoyed your poem. And yes, you see , you are a poet.
Best and I hope one day you will see.
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it.
