Rain

jazmine zillmer

Dashing Down to earth,

Sand to the Ocean,

Pebbles to the Emerald Mountain.

A Raspberries' Thousandth red Juicy Drop.

A Clouds' Crystal Clear Cleansing shower,

Forever releasing from the sky,

Natures' Natural Nourishing Necessity,

And Why the Sky Keeps Weeping.

A Strong, Masked persons' Unwanted Tear.

Sorrows' gentle Stroke,

Beginning the Orchestra with a Single pulse.

Swelling Rivers like a Great Snakes Dry Skin,

Erasing Shores and Bridges,

Guenching and Feeding the Common Flowers.

A Childs murmuring, Splashing, whisper.

Cleansing and Wiping the side walk chalk,

Ready for the next Onslaught.

And When the Sky Clears

After Raining Just Right,

You Can Fly a Kite.

Fascinating metaphors you've associated with rain! Excellent imagery. Thought-provoking and very interesting. The conclusion is so delightful. I enjoyed this!
