the drains and faith

Jalso

This light blinds people from seeing scars

Everything is taken because of this light

But people don’t care

As long as they have faith

they believe they can’t get hurt

I don’t get it

How they be so happy

With no dreams

All it drains

From they minds

But people don’t care

As long they have faith in this

Thin papered book

They believe they won’t get hurt

I don’t get it

How they be

So happy

With no dreams, only stuck with drains

In they minds

This memory is a bit

Gone

But I cant hold on

For much longer

The drains

They suck it from my mind

Almost subtly powerful and nearly intriguing. Interesting diatribe with pointed imagery. Curious perspective and yet makes sense.
