Why do people commit suicide? Is there so much painThat there's no where to hide? Don't they see the path of pain that cuts deep? Or those left behind are so destraught and losing sleep? Are they blind to all the hearts they have broken? As if nothing to say, no words spoken. How does anyone move on from here? How do the rest of us get past the pain, the fears? Isn't awful to think about doing this to your family? How can we continue with life as if we are carefree? How self-centered would you have to be to do this to our Son and me? I can't contain the pain or the rage! THe domino effect that ended with me in a cage. Broken the moment you made your selfish decision, to destroy our familywith Accurate Precision! Now we're left to pick up the peices and move on without you. And the life we had...left no trace,It's gone. Fortunately we Pray,Someday we'll mend but scars left behind leave a pain that won't end.

- Comment from author about the poem: I wrote this after my husband commited suicide a few years ago. I was so full of hurt, hatered, and rage over what this did to our family.

Very thought-provoking and methinks all too relevant to this day and age. It appears to utilized end-rhyming but I suspect from previous frustrations in using this site/server, that while you may well have ordered this post in rhymed stanzas but the site did not acknowledge that? An excellent tribute to a horrible reality. I am very sorry your little family was thus shattered and hope the Lord may mercifully grant you recovery, though the scars must remain for this earth, methinks. Wonderful imagery and if it indeed uses end-rhyming, all the nicer. Excellent.
