The lust of the eye's will cause one to become blind;
to all the blessings that God have for all mankind
The lust of the flesh will not allow you to see God in his glory;
that's one of God's promises so you don't have to Worry.
Now, the pride of life is the worst of them all;
because out of the heart flows the issues of life and that's where we fall.
Thinking we are better than the rest, So we begin to Boast;
not accepting 2nd place, but 1st because thats what we were taught to know.
Excuse me if I'm coming across a little bit to tough;
but it's time realize that the Lord had just about enough.
Of us living life anyway we want to;
If only we can learn Patience is a Virtue!
So it doesn't matter where we go or where we been;
We as human beings will never escape this life of SIN!

Interesting and thought-provoking, to say the least. Aye, we cannot save ourselves for "..all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags.." and "..by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.."..."Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven whereby we must be saved." (I looked up the last but the other two might be misquoted). If only our pride was not so overweening, even our humility is tainted. Mercifully it is the Lord Who saves us.
