The Gentle Touch

diamonddagger

the gentle touch
as the poet reaches out
to hold the mind of the reader
with the beauty and sadness
of something lost
yet found inside your soul
the black hole that opens wide
when ideas try to hide
and you think you need a charm
or a special place to unleash
the power of the moment

lovely write! you captured the mind of the poet very well in this one.

Wow, I adore the delectable image paired with this, too charming and perfect for the poet's reverie and thereby ecstasies the soul is sometimes half wont to desire. Lovely tribute to the beautiful reality of the poet, playing those inner chords of the soul so gently yet receptively. Sweet with excellent imagery. Thanks for sharing, I quite enjoyed it.

Thank you, Jenny. You're a real doll for leaving all these sweet comments. My real name is Linda. I love the way you use the English language. You sound very educated. How much schooling have you had?

My pleasure, Linda; I was merely repaying your kindness and noticed this other attractively packaged offering. I do enjoy playing with words, thank you, and am not in jest when offering constructive criticism..

      Jenny
