    Ah, mine aren't blue, but a window at the kitchen sink is almost something you can't life without seems. Awesome tribute to the blessing, with a wonderful sense of humor and gorgeous pic. Thanks much for sharing, I love it.

    I found the pic long ago but had no poem to go along with it. I love birds and when the blubirds come back to Northern PA we know the snow is over. Peace, Linda

      Ah, clever, then is that to say you crafted the poem to fit the beloved picture? Such are seem to be referred to as "picture poems" over at PF, but I could well be mistaken. When the Cardinals and robins and a host of other darlings return we know Spring is here in Illinois. I first began hearing the cardinal that last week of February, and its been lovely hearing the birdsongs since, when the weather is suited to their music, that is. I love the birds too. Do you have robins and do they play games with you? Mine seem to. See:
