INTO THE SUNSHINE

sokibgb

I sit on my window seat

Watching the world passing by

Wondering if I should join in

Or keep my own world inside

Maybe, I just think too much

Remembering all that has passed

I'm not afraid of the future

Just afraid it will not last

I have come to a decision

Nothing ventured, nothing gained

I will walk into the sunshine

And forget about the rain

Lovely and thought-provoking, poignant, with excellent imagery and a wonderful metaphor. I feel the same way many times, seems. Aye, walk in the light of the Word of God and the future is not such a daunting proposition, because He already told us the end from the beginning. Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed it.

Hello Jenny, Exactly right. We were told the end from the beginning so the future is not scary at all. Iam glad you share my view and that you enjoyed the poem. May your day be full with Light, soki
