The stars are all the same
the moon still shines
the dance music's changed
I whisper your name
The moon still shines
on beautiful Autumn nights
and I whisper your name
to come dance with me
On beautiful Autumn nights
when my heart is full of you
to come dance with me
and enjoy life while we can
When my heart is full of you
I stare into your soul
and enjoy life while we can
taking pleasure where it lay
I stare into your soul
And find music and laughter
taking pleasure where of lay
at the feet of the one I love
And find music and laughter
to fill my empty heart
at the feet of the one I love
how I need you to be mine
To fill my empty heart
and I whisper your name
how I need you to be mine
the stars are all the same

As I read aloud and along with this, my lips nullified. Amazing.
Haunting and riveting, the sweet size of the quatrain stanzas and your use of repetition, similar to a refrain, lend a swirling quality to this poignant romance, which takes the soul in its hands, as it were, to set it softly at the feet of the beloved, who indeed intoxicates. Lovely and beautifully rendered with excellent imagery, thanks for sharing. I enjoyed it.

hauntingly beautiful. I especially love the lines
I stare into your soul
And find music and laughter
